AI is changing the world around us and we are definitely using AI here at The Home Selling Team. This week I used it in a really cool way and I want to share it with you. I have a client whose home we are getting ready for sale. Part of the preparation is painting the exterior of the house and we were exploring different color schemes.
We took a photo of the exterior of the home then uploaded that photo into ChatGPT. We gave it a prompt with the different paint colors we were considering. ChatGPT returned a fresh image of the home showing those colors applied. It was so cool to see what those colors would look like on the house before making a decision. That helped us decide on a color with confidence.
Why This Matters
Using AI this way removes guesswork. You can actually see how different color combinations will look before buying any paint. It can reveal things like how shadows fall how light changes the tones of a color and whether certain trim or siding choices work with the main color. It speeds up the decision making process and can save money because less chance of repainting or being disappointed.
What We Learned
In our case:

- It saved time and energy that would have been spent comparing lots of physical samples.
- It also helped our client see what the final result would actually look like, instead of imagining it.
